Guy Wire Strandlink
A guy wire strandlink is a mechanical connector used for splicing overhead or down guy wires. The strandlink serves as a splice to connect two pieces of strand or rod, commonly used when a guy is broken or during guy relocation. The internal structure includes pilot cups on both ends and lubricant coating.
Guy wire strandlinks come in different sizes including 1/4″, 5/16″, and 3/8″ versions for various applications. The Universal Grade strandlinks are specifically designed for Alumoweld and Extra High Strength galvanized steel strand, while All Grade series are suitable for common grade, Siemens-Martin, and utility grade galvanized steel strand. Guy wire strandlinks work in conjunction with guy clamps, guy thimbles, and anchor rods to secure poles and structures.
