During the installation, the suspension clamp for the ABC cable is hanged in a straight direction to let the cable to be wrapped or positioned easily. The installation is very easy without tools. suspension clamp for ABC cable includes J hook type suspension clamp, plastic suspension clamp, armor grip suspension.
The J hook type suspension clamp consist of a steel J hook, and a rubber part inset and a long bolt.
The rubber part insert is used to wrap the ADSS cable to protect it from friction。The steel J hook will be assembled on the pole by hanging on the pigtail hook. Other types of J hook type suspension clamp will be fastened on the pole by a stainless steel band.
There is a hole in the middle of the rubber part insert. The big hole is designed for ABC bundle conductors line. The small types of holes diameter should be fit with the cable diameter. The J hook suspension clamp is designed according to different spans between poles.

The plastic suspension clamp is a different construction and material with the J hook type suspension clamp. But it acts the same function with the J hook type suspension clamp. The plastic suspension clamp is usually connected with the casting steel bracket to hang on the pole.

The distance between the two towers is called the span. For a short span, it usually chooses the preformed suspension clamp with O ring. This type of suspension clamp has features of the lightest weight, easy installation and more efficiency to protect the ADSS cable.
For the middle span and long span, there is another type of preformed suspension clamp which is aluminum clad rubber. The armor grip suspension connects with U clevis to hang the cable. The aluminum clad rubber suspension clamp supports and protects the ADSS cable from bending damage.
According to the span, it uses a single suspension clamp for a short span and a double suspension clamp for a long span.

3.Suspension clamp for the overhead line.
The suspension clamp for the overhead line is designed to hang the conductors and pole line hardware on to the spool insulator. The material of the suspension clamp body is casting iron and aluminum two types.
When the suspension clamp used to AAC and ACSR, the conductor will be wrapped by a preformed armor rod. The suspension clamp suitable diameter includes the protector’s diameter.
