Suspension clamp and Preformed tension clamp for Optical Cable ADSS

Rax Industry ADSS cable accessories are suitable for the installation of Aerial Optical Fiber Cable between pole to pole, pole to the building of the internet.

There are many types of Rax Industry ADSS Cable Accessories, such as dead end grip, Suspension, Tension, and so on. The suspension is used for hanging ADSS cable, and Tension is used to stretch and hold the cable on the pole.

The following specification is regarding the Vietnam market, if you are from other markets, please send us the drawings and parameters, we can customize new mold for you.

  • The general structure of ADSS suspension clamp:

+ Part 1: U-clevis or bow shackle – To hook suspension to the fastening clamp in the pole.

+ Part 2: Amour grip housing – Cylindrical shape made of aluminum alloy, be used for griping outside 2 rubber insert.

+ Part 3: Associated bolt – Hang suspension into the fastening clamp in the pole.

+ Part 4: Rubber insert – include 2 half of rubber inserts which has cylindrical shape when combine. The rubber inserts grips and fix the cable as well as reinforcing rod.

+ Part 5: Outer reinforcing rod – include outer reinforcing rods made of steel, cover the inner reinforcing rods, in order to maintain the bending radius of the optical cable near the suspension; make sure the optical cable not break. The outer reinforcing rod must be highly elastic, in order to be reused many times. The outer reinforcing rod only is used in suspension span 500m.

+ Part number 6: Inner reinforcing rod – include inner reinforcing rods made of steel, cover around a cable to maintain the bending radius of optical cable; make sure the optical cable not break. The outer reinforcing rod must be highly elastic, in order to be reused many times.

+ Part number 7: Grip bolt – create pressing force to hold the cable

Preformed tension clamp

  • The tension is used to change the way of cable, at the closure position, spare cable for back up, cable termination….

  • Structure of Preformed tension clamp:

  • Part 1: Bow shackle – used to hook tension to the pole (hook on the holes of fastening clamp).
  • Part 2: Intermediate link (Extension link) – used to make sure the bending radius of cable and flexible installation. Extension link is used with tension having span ≥ 200m
  • Part 3: Associated bolt – associate tension accessories and tension with fastening clamp in the pole.
  • Part 4: Clevis thimble – used to support the outer tension rod.
  • Part 5: Outer reinforcing rod – includes reinforcing rods made of steel and wrapped outside cable to increase reinforcing ability of tension.
  • Part 6: Inner reinforcing rod – include galvanized steel reinforcing rod which directly withstands force for ADSS cable. Inner reinforcing rod is used with tension having span ≥ 200m.
